I Really Hope This Is The Beginning Of A New Internet Trend

 

 

 

Literal music video translations.  Oh please let this become a new internet meme.  It's too damned funny.  Not only is it thoroughly amusing to watch somebody sing about what's going on in the video, but the liteal singing itself points out how truly absurd 80's music videos were.

 

For instance, in this video, why is there a guy with a gas mask in the library?  How the hell is the singer floating from level to level?  Just what is that monkey up to anyways?

 

If you like this video, the guy who made it also did a really good literal translation of A-Ha's famous video for their song Take On Me.  After listening to it I swear I'll never be able to sing the original lyrics again.  All I'll want to sing about are magic frames and pipe wrench fights.
