Princess Peach Is A Thankless Bitch
As reported previously on Geek-tastic, Seth MacFarlane (the creator of Family Guy) has started up a new series of animated web shorts called Seth MacFarlane's Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy. Well, the first short has been released, and it doesn't disappoint.
The short features Mario rescuing the princess from Bowser and her generally being totally thankless to Mario for everything he had to go through to save her. All the guy wants is a kiss, and the woman wouldn't do it.
Sure, Mario's a short, hairy and most likely sweaty guy, but still. He just saved your life. You can't even bring yourself to give him a quick peck on the lips as thanks? Seems pretty heartless to me. Princeass Peach can be a real bitch sometimes.
Personally though, I'm really amused by the Burger King's cameo at the beginning of the clip. What's going on there? Why's he being chased by savages? I really want to know. I'd totally love a cartoon that explains what led up to that chase. The Burger King rules!

This seems a bit familiar to me....I dare say do we think that old SF is borrowing from another Seth (who just so happens to be a voice on SF's popular show). Robot Chicken did something very similar but instead it was Link rescuing Zelda and Link expecting Zelda to thank him with sex, but instead she totally refuses him and tells him that she did it the first few times but after awhile it just got old since she had already been rescued about a million times.
ReplyDeleteSF seems to borrow a lot doesn't he? Don't get me wrong. I love Family Guy b/c Brian and Stewie totally make that whole show, but his ideas aren't always that original.
