Neil Patrick Harris Sings As A Batman Villain

I've written before about how I absolutely adore the animated series Batman: Brave And The Bold. It's silly and over the top and everything that a good Saturday morning cartoon show should be. The voice cast is great, and the art style is top notch. One of the other things I love about the show is how a lot of the lower rung Batman villains like Clock King and Gorilla Grod get to take the center stage for once instead of the more typical Joker, Penguin or Riddler that we usually see.

Well, now the show has gone and done something that make it even one more level of awesome. Actually, make that two levels of awesome. First, they hired Neil Patrick Harris to guest star as a villain for one episode. That villain's name is the Music Meister, and his superpower is to control people's minds with the sound of his singing. This is what brings us to that second level of awesome. Not only did the creators of Batman: Brave and the Bold hire NPH to voice a villain on the show, they hired him to voice a singing villain who controls people through impromptu song and dance numbers.

You'll have to pardon me a second here . . . . I can only process so much awesome at one time, and I've just had my circuits overloaded.

The video above is the first half of the episode in which NPH appears in. To see the second half, we're going to have to wait until the episode airs on Cartoon Network on October 23rd. And get this, they'll be making the music from the episode available for purchase on itunes.

I can only hope that at some point in the episode Batman himself busts out into song. As we all know, Batman has a hell of a singing voice. Even if he's singing Pokemon songs.
