Many of you readers who are old enough (like me) will remember the greatness that was the Burger King Star Wars glasses that the fast food franchise sold back in the day. As opposed to more recent drinkware giveaways, the original Star Wars glasses were made out of actual glass. They didn't give out any of those crappy plastic cups that are typically given away nowadays.
It looks like Burger King is going back to its roots though, and will be selling Star Trek glasses for $2 with the purchase of any combo meal at their restaurants. And get this, the glasses are actually made of glass, not that crappy ass acryllic stuff. I'm not a big fan of Burger King or their food, but I now can't hide sudden desire to buy food there in order to get these kickass glasses. Damn you Burger King and your successful marketing department. I'll be visiting you soon to throw down some hard earned money in exchange for sub par food and amazing glassware.
Also, to go along with the Star trek glasses, Burger King is also selling Star Trek kids meal toys and has one of the most random promotional websites up that I've ever seen. It's notable for at least one amazing thing though, which is the Burger King dressed up as a Klingon. However, in the commercials he's referred to as a Kingon.

Amazing thing you post in this blog. It help me to solve my related problem. Nice bolg post.
