The Tales of Beedle The Bard is getting published
For those Harry Potter fans amongst us, J.K Rowling has announced that her fairy tale book, The Tales of Beedle The Bard will be published soon, and the proceeds will be going to charity.
The Tales of Beedle The Bard are a series of short fairy tales that are referred to in the Harry Potter series. They're sort of like the Grimms Fairy Tales of the wizarding world.
Rowling had originally hand written and illustrated a couple of copies that were only given out to her close personal friends as gifts. But now it will be available for everyone to enjoy.
"The new edition will include the Tales themselves, translated from the original runes by Hermione Granger, and with illustrations by me, but also notes by Professor Albus Dumbledore, which appear by generous permission of the Hogwarts Headmasters' Archive," said Rowling.
The book is set to be released on December 4th. The proceeds will go to help The Children's High Level Charity, an organization that helps institutionalized children. The charity was co-founded by Rowling herself in 2005.
You can pre-order the book on Amazon.
