The World Of Lego Tower Building Is Very Competitive

A bunch of jerks from Vienna recently completed the world's largest LEGO tower.  Why are they jerks?  They're jerks because another guy had already built the world's largest LEGO tower a few months ago, and these new guys built theirs just a little taller on purposely to beat him out.

How much taller was their tower?  A whopping seven inches.  That's right, seven fucking inches.  The original tower was 96.1 feet tall, the new tower is 96.7 feet tall.

What a bunch of dicks.  It's not like they totally kicked his tower's ass by making it ten feet taller or something.  No, they just wanted to beat him by a little more than half a foot.  If that isn't super-dickery, I don't know what is.

Why didn't they at least go for a 100 foot tower?  Are they afraid of nice, round figures or something?  Or is there some law of physics that states a hundred feet of LEGO's is doomed to collapse?

I hope the original guy rebuilds his tower to be 96.8 feet tall, just to piss these guys off.
