Determined To Ruin What Was Once A Great Thing

Good god, can't we do something to stop this?  It looks like George Lucas is already well into planning a fifth Indiana Jones movie.  In a recent interview with Harrison Ford (who is now 66 years old), he talked about the progress of the upcoming film, and why they're making another one:

"It's automatic, really, we did well with the last one and with that having done well and been a positive experience, it's not surprising that some people want to do it again," Ford said.

Of course, the real reason that they're making another one is that Crystal Skull made $770 million worldwide.  Not to mention all the money they made from merchandise and other deals that were made.  For god's sake, I saw Harrison Ford's face every back when the movie came out.  He was even on cereal boxes.

What Harrison doesn't seem to notice though was that the last film was critically panned.  And lots of die-hard fans (like myself) were saddened by the crappiness of the film.  So news of them making another one isn't exactly welcome.

Why can't they just let a good thing die?
