The Most Beautiful Song You Will Ever Hear About Mario Kart

 

Watching the news lately, there are tons of good reasons to be cynical or jaded at the world around us.  Terrorist attacks in India, a dying world economy, people getting laid off left and right.  The world can easily be perceived as a dark and scary place. 

 

But every now and then a tiny little beam of pure beauty will appear out of the darkness.  It will remind us that there is still good in this world, there is still love and peace and a hope for a better tomorrow. 

 

This song is one of those beams.  While it may sound silly at first, this tiny little love song about characters in the game Mario Kart is easily the most beautiful thing I have heard in a long, long time.  It's so tender and sweet, and it's delivered with such simple brilliance and true sincerity that I find it impossible not to find myself getting a little emotional over it.
