A Great Geeky Christmas Album - 8 Bit Jesus
As I've mentioned before here a few times now, I'm a big fan of chip-music (music made with old video game systems that sound like old 8 bit video games). Well, the blip festival started in New York yesterday, which is a chip-music festival, and I'm really sad that I'm not there to take part in it.
However, to ease the pain I did find this totally awesome chip-tune christmas. Entitled 8 Bit Jesus, the album is a collection of nine classic Chirstmas songs re-done in chip-music format. The album is highly entertaining, and was created by chip-music artist Doctor Octoroc. It includes such great songs as We Three Konami (We Three Kings), Ryu The Red Nosed Ninja (Rudulph The Red Nosed Reindeer) and Super Jingle Brothers (Jingle Bells), plus many more.
The album can be downloaded for free in its entirety thanks to Doctor Octoroc being so incredibly awesome. It's definitely worth a listen for any old school videogame fans.
