A lot of the fans of the original Star Trek series were unhappy with the fact that J.J. Abrams came along and started playing around with the timeline of the show in order to explain how the events in his Star Trek motion picture could take place. Personally, I'm not one of those people, as I'm a life long of Trek who actually enjoyed the new Abrams movie immensely.
However, even I can't help but chuckle a little at this short film, made by the folks to do the Star Trek: Phase II web series, as the Original Trek crew takes it upon themselves to repair the damage to the timeline that was done by Abrams and his movie.
Leave it to Spock to figure out how to sort all this stuff out in a nice and convenient manner.
