Need Some New Battlestar To Hold You Over Until The Final Episodes Air?
Then head on over to IO9.com, where they have seven deleted scenes from the first half of season four available for viewing. Some of the secens are really good too.
One of the scenes shows Baltar's Imaginary Caprica leaving him, and another shows Starbuck and Apollo having a heartfelt moment when she's stuck in the brig. This scene actually got me to thinking about Star Wars for one particular reason. It made me really wish that a decent screenwriter had gotten ahold of the scripts for the prequel films before they went to filming.
The scene I was specifically thinking of was in Episode III where Padme and Anakin are on the balcony and they're professing their love to each other. Remember that scene, and how horribly cheesy it was? Well, think of that scene while watching the scene between Apollo and Starbuck. There is more believable emotion in that one scene between the two characters than there ever was in all three Star Wars prequels combined (with the exception of Ewan McGregor's speech at the end of Ep III).
God what a difference good screenwriting can make.
