Friday Happy Hour

It's Friday. You know what that means. It's time for the return of Geek-tastic's incredibly irregular week-ending post, Friday Happy Hour! So, let's grab some booze and mixers and make ourselves a tasty drink to start the weekend off with.

Today's drink recipe came to me thanks to a tip from my friend and regular Geek-tastic reader Mr. Jeff Magness, who recently informed me that it is because of this site that he has become a fan of Doctor Who. Well, I'm only too happy to spread the word of the good Doctor. And now with Jeff's help I'm able to share with you all a killer concoction named after the Doctor's favorite tool.

The Sonic Screwdriver

Ingredients:

• 1 1/2 oz Vanilla Vodka
• 1 1/2 oz Blue Curacao Liqueur
• 6 oz Clear Lemon-Lime Soda

Instructions:

Half-fill a clear 12 oz. glass with ice. Pour 1.5 oz Vanilla Vodka, 1.5 oz Blue Curacao, and 6 oz. CLEAR lemon/lime soda over the ice. Stir lightly, and Enjoy!.
