The Evolution Of A Terminator

Terminatormodelscale1201

Wired has a really interesting article up about McG's Terminator 4 film that is coming out this summer.  The article has a bunch of cool photos from the film as well as some concept art and statements from McG about why certain creative decisions have been made and how they went about making the film.  It's an interesting look behind the scenes at the making of the next Terminator film.

Here's the director talking about how the evolution of the T-800 model works.

"The first film shows Schwarzenegger's T-800 coming from 2029 back in time," McG said. "Salvation takes place in 2018, so you see the R&D that went into the T-800. It's like the polio vaccine: You've got to go through a lot of lab rats to get to vaccine. In this film, humans are the lab rats. Skynet is testing on us to figure out how to make a photorealistic, leaner, smaller, more capable machine -- the T-800."

Humans as lab rats?  That can't be good.  Especially when you see this pic.

Now just open your mouth and say ahhh.  This won't hurt a bit.  We swear.
