More really sad geek news to report this morning. Ricardo Montalban, the amazing actor who has appeared in a number of geeky properties such as Star Trek, The Naked Gun, Conquest of the Planet of the Apes and of course Fantasy Island has passed away at the age of 88.
While he had a career that spanned over 60 years, most of us geeks will always remember him as one man, and one man only. Khan Noonien Singh. The genetically created super-man that once siezed control of the USS Enterprise for a brief time from a young Captain James T. Kirk, only to return years later in the move Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan to almost destroy both the ship and its Captain.
Let us take a moment of quiet reflection to remember this fallen geek icon. And then, when that moment has passed...go outside and scream out to the heavens as loudly as you can.....
